Loftus

Loftus is a quiet leafy suburb bordered by the Royal National Park and the Woronora Cemetery. A small suburb of just over 4,000 people, Loftus is located 25km from the city and is serviced by the Illawarra train line.

Loftus has a public school, a volunteer bush fire brigade and small shopping centre opposite the train station. Dwellings predominately are 3 to 4 bedrooms houses with a small number of townhouse and villas, the average land size is about 600sqm.

The suburb is well serviced by parks and open spaces including an array of bush tracks, sporting and recreation clubs and childcare centres. Perhaps best known for its Tramway museum, Loftus is a sought after suburb for young families.
